Council Feedback for Additional Parking at Liddiard Street Carpark
The City of Boroondara is currently seeking feedback for 'additional car parking spaces near Glenferrie Station'. Proposing the construction of a new car park with "around 490 spaces at the existing Liddiard Street Council-owned car park in Hawthorn".
Council has opened the proposal up for public feedback and comment until midday Thursday 10 February via an online survey or written submission at engage.boroondara.vic.gov.au. Individuals are also able to email boroondara@boroondara.vic.gov.au to obtain a hard-copy of the survey.
The feedback will be used to "develop a report for Council to consider before further discussions with the Australian Government about the funding offer". Following this, Council will seek to form a project agreement with the Australian Government for delivery of the project and will "present the proposed design and features of the car park to the community in 2022".
Drop-in sessions with council officers are open to the public: Saturday 29 January, 10:30am - 1:30pm @ Glenferrie Road near Liddiard Street Saturday 5 February, 10:30 am - 1:30pm @ Liddiard Street carpark
