COVID-19 Vaccination Locations

Updated: May 4, 2021

In February 2021, the Australian Government began the COVID-19 vaccination rollout, with vaccine eligibility administered in phases. Still in the early stages of rollout, vaccinations are available through hospitals, a selection of general practitioners (GPs), and state-run sites and high-volume vaccination centres.

With the commencement of Stage 2A of the COVID-19 vaccination rollout on 3 May 2021, all Victorians over 50 are now eligible to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine, in addition to high-risk individuals included in Stage 1. Official health advice recommends the Pfizer vaccine be administered to those under 50, and the AstraZeneca vaccine for those over 50. To find out if you are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination, visit healthdirect.gov.au/coronavirus.

At the time of publication, locals can book COVID-19 vaccines with GPs at Medical Clinic Hawthorn (585 Glenferrie Road) via 9042 6890, Hawthorn Medical (125 Power Street) via hotdoc.com.au, and Access Health & Community (378 Burwood Road) via 9810 3000. Please ensure you have checked your eligibility before booking. Availability of appointments will increase as more vaccines are available and as more GPs are set up for administering.

You can also visit one of Victoria’s state-run vaccination sites and high-volume vaccination centres, including Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and the Royal Exhibition Building. For up-to-date information on Victoria's COVID-19 vaccination locations you can visit coronavirus.vic.gov.au/vaccine, and call the COVID-19 hotline on 1800 675 398 to book an appointment.
