Climate Change: Why Should I Care?

Local community group, Lighter Footprints, will be putting on a free climate change forum, Climate Change: Why Should I Care? featuring a number of speakers providing climate science, legal, finance and community perspectives on the issue of climate change. Candidates of the major political parties contesting the seat of Hawthorn will also speak briefly on these issues.

Lighter Footprints is a local climate action group made up of residents from Boroondara and Whitehorse municipalities. The group is aiming to influence decision makers and the public to help ensure a safe climate future.

The free event will be held on Tuesday 30 October from 7pm-9pm at the Hawthorn Arts Centre.
